Dudleyfest — Back to School (with Sun)

Posted August 30, 2011

Dudleyfest — the annual back-to-school open house for GSAS that introduces first-year students to the many resources available to graduate students at Harvard — drew approximately 750 students to Dudley House on Wednesday, August 24, a bright, sunny day that matched the anticipatory mood in the Yard.

More than 50 student organizations and some 30 Harvard resource groups were on hand to help students connect with their interests, find affiliations, get their stipend checks, or pick up their IDs. The Dudley Fellows were prominent among those groups, inviting students to seek out access to the recreational, artistic, cultural, and social opportunities of the House. Students could buy discounted Red Sox and other sought-after tickets and enter a raffle to win one of 18 prizes from great Harvard Square retailers like Om, Black Ink, and Charlie's Kitchen. (The full slate of raffle sponsors is listed below).
