The Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences will launch a master’s program in computational science and engineering in the next academic year, with the aim of training leaders for a future in which large-scale computation and advanced mathematical modeling will propel innovation in fields from psychology to photonics.
The program, developed at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, will begin accepting applications in the fall for enrollment in September 2013. Applicants will apply through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
