Channel that competitive drive — take part in Dudley's athletics programs this fall! We can connect you with intramural sports, group exercise, recreational outings, and even game nights at the House!

Intramural Athletics

The Dudley Athletics program gives graduate students the chance to participate in athletic events and to compete for Dudley House. We're part of the Harvard-Radcliffe Intramural Athletic Program, together with the other 12 Harvard houses, offering you the chance to play as many different sports as you want to during the year. Fall semester intramural leagues include flag football, soccer, tennis, ultimate frisbee, and volleyball.

While the level of competition can be quite high (i.e., a grueling 1,500-meter rowing race through the Charles River basin, striving to outpace rival Eliot House), it is by no means necessary to be “good” at a sport in order to play. The program also includes relaxing group outings (i.e., a lazy paddle on the Charles in a canoe or kayak). The important thing is to have fun, and the emphasis is on participation.

In addition to intramurals and sports-related outings, Dudley Athletics also offers a game room featuring a large-screen TV and tables for pool, table tennis, and air hockey.
