March Graduate Student Council Meeting

March 7, 6:30 p.m.

Location: Longwood Medical Campus

The policy of the GSC is made at open meetings. At the meetings, executive officers, at-large representatives, and committee chairs report on various issues and get suggestions or answer questions from the members. All GSAS students are encouraged to participate and voice their opinions and concerns at the GSC open meetings. Some of the issues raised at the meetings include support for student parents, difficulties in receiving social security numbers for international students, dissertation completion funding, and guidelines for general exams. The GSC pursues these issues with the GSAS Deans and university administration in order to serve your needs.

Please do not hesitate to contact the GSC with any questions or concerns. To place an issue on a GSC meeting agenda, please submit it at least one week prior to the meeting to harvardgsc@gmail.com.

Meetings are open to the entire GSAS community, and include free drinks and pizza.

Electronic Dissertation Submission Demo

March 9, 2–4 p.m.

Location: Dudley House Common Room

The GSAS Office of Student Affairs invites May degree candidates and other interested students to a demonstration of the new electronic submission portal.
