The 2008 GSAS Commencement Marshals Selected

Commencement Marshals are chosen by a Graduate Student Council committee from among those graduating students nominated by their departments for their contributions to graduate student life. Inviting International Family Members to Commencement

Families of international students sometimes experience difficulty obtaining visas to attend Commencement. Family members who will require US visa stamps must apply to a US embassy or consulate far in advance to complete the process in time.

2008 Mentoring Award Winners Announced

This month, five Harvard faculty members received Everett Mendelsohn Excellence in Mentoring Awards. The annual award is sponsored by the Graduate Student Council and GSAS. For 2008, the recipients are Professors Svetlana Boym, Philip A. Kuhn, Thomas McGuire, Lucien Taylor, and Daniel Wegner.
