Complete applications (which include the application form, three letters of recommendation, transcripts and TOEFL results for international applicants) received along with the application fee by the appropriate deadline are assured full consideration. Applicants are requested to submit the completed application and supporting materials in one envelope. TOEFL results, if required, may be submitted directly to the Special Student/Visiting Fellow Office by the Educational Testing Service. Please note that recommenders should insert the letter of recommendation in their own envelope, seal and sign the envelope across the back, and return it to the applicant for inclusion in the application. Delayed letters should be sent to the Special Student/Visiting Fellow Office immediately. However, the Special Student/Visiting Fellow Office can not guarantee full consideration of incomplete applications once the appropriate deadline has passed.
