Application deadline: December 14

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences offers graduate degrees in applied mathematics, applied physics, computer science, and engineering science. Those students earning a degree in engineering sciences can specialize in one of the following areas: bioengineering, electrical engineering, environmental sciences and engineering, or mechanical engineering.

SEAS requires online submission of the application and strongly prefers online submission of the letters of recommendation.

* SM and ME applicants are not eligible for Harvard grants.

** The GREs are recommended for applicants to the AB/SM program but are not required. For additional GRE information, see the SEAS section of www.gsas.harvard.edu.

It is required that all applicants to the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences submit the Supplemental Application form with their application. Please read the form carefully and indicate your specific interests only in the area to which you are applying. The form can be found at www.seas.harvard.edu/admissions/grad/forms/index.html, on the online application, on the Summary form in the paper application, or in the SEAS section of www.gsas.harvard.edu.

For applicants applying to the HST MEMP Program, a photocopy of the GSAS application, with original transcripts and letters of recommendation, serves as the HST MEMP application. These materials should be sent by December 14 to:
