This program does not admit applicants for the AM degree; only those applying to the PhD are considered for admission, although the program may award the AM degree incidentally to PhD candidates.

All applicants to the Program in Health Policy are required to submit in writing an indication of the concentration(s) and policy area(s) within the program that are of special interest. Résumé required.

Applicants to the Ethics concentration should include a recent sample of written work that is no more than 20 pages in length.

For the combined MD/PhD in Health Policy, applicants must apply separately to each program and indicate in the application to the PhD Program in Health Policy that a concurrent application has been submitted to the Harvard Medical School.

For the coordinated JD/PhD, applicants must apply separately to each program and indicate in the application to the PhD in Health Policy that a concurrent application has been submitted to Harvard Law School.

Send fall term grades when available if attending school while applying to the program.
