This program does not admit applicants for the AM degree; only those applying to the PhD are considered for admission, although the program may award the AM degree incidentally to PhD candidates.

No application for admission to the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures will be considered complete unless accompanied by a recent and extensive sample of the student's written work in English.

Candidates are encouraged to contact faculty in the department when applying and, if possible, to visit Cambridge and meet with faculty members and graduate students.
