In collaboration with GSAS, the Bok Center will continue its innovative programming for international teaching fellows this fall with two valuable offerings.

Led by Pamela Pollock, newly appointed as Instructional Specialist for International Teaching Fellows, the Bok Center will again offer its Classroom Communication Skills Course for ITFs, a student-centered, highly interactive course designed to help international graduate students develop the oral communication skills needed to be successful in their graduate programs, with a particular emphasis on skills necessary for teaching in the Harvard classroom.

Classes begin the week of September 5. Enrollment is limited and applications are due by Monday, 8/29. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Teaching in the American Classroom: Discussion Leading for International TFs provides international graduate students with an understanding of what they can expect of the undergraduate students they teach and what their students will expect of them. Participants will learn effective strategies and techniques for leading productive discussions in undergraduate sections. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
